DELMON Group is accelerating its energy transition through solar power
A New Step in Our Energy Transition
On September 19, 2026, the Durance solar power plant was officially inaugurated in the presence of representatives from local governments, partner companies, and stakeholders who contributed to its construction, including Sylvain BROUX, CEO of DELMON Group, and Jean DURAND, Head of Energy at SOCAT.
Launched in late 2024, the project reached a major milestone on August 2, 2026, with the plant’s commissioning; it now feeds its renewable electricity into the public grid via ENEDIS. The VALECO Group is responsible for its operation.
DELMON Group is one of nine medium-sized companies participating in a collective PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) for renewable electricity. Ultimately, this initiative is expected to cover approximately 18% of our electricity consumption through this generation.
This inauguration marks another concrete step forward in our energy transition and highlights the importance of cooperation among companies in building a more sustainable future.
